Ancillary services include:
CT Scan
A powerful, non-invasive imaging technique that helps diagnose and treat many diseases, particularly cancer.
Mammography
We offer advanced digital mammography, including computer aided detection technology which assists in detecting early stage breast cancer. Mammography procedures are offered Monday through Friday by appointment and, most often, screening mammograms can be performed on the same date as the request. All of our Mammography Technologists are licensed by the State of Texas and registered nationally through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists including additional certification in Mammography. All of our radiologists are board certified with additional certification in Mammography.
MRI Scan
A way of looking inside your body to obtain anatomical and functional diagnostic information. The MRI unit uses radio waves and a magnetic field to provide detailed images of particular parts of the body.
Ultrasound
Also called sonography or diagnostic medical sonography, an ultrasound uses high-frequency sound waves to produce precise images of structures within your body.
X-ray
A safe, simple, painless medical test that uses electromagnetic radiation to make images of the inside of your body. It allows your physician to view and assess the state of your bones and internal organs.
Inpatient Physical Therapy
Some patients require physical therapy during their stay at the hospital. In those cases the following therapy programs are available:
- Functional Mobility Retraining: Teaching proper and safe functional mobility with an emphasis on minimizing the risks of falls and re-injury.
- Orthopedic Rehabilitation: Evaluating and treating all types of orthopedic conditions and surgeries focusing on intense training of proper mobility and exercises to restore normal range of motion, strength and mobility.
