Methodist McKinney Hospital today announced the hiring of Kevin Jones as president. He will start Aug, 1 leading Collin County's newest hospital, which is scheduled to open in early 2010. The announcement was made today by the hospital's board of managers. Read full release.

June 9, 2009 - Methodist McKinney Hospital Reaches Critical Milestone With Topping Out Ceremony 

Vertical construction at Collin County's newest hospital was completed Thursday, May 21, when the last steel beam was put into place during the official Topping Out Ceremony of Methodist McKinney Hospital. More than 75 hospital supporters attended the event, including local physicians, representatives from Methodist Health System, Nueterra Healthcare, and members of the McKinney City Council and numerous members of the Stonebridge Ranch community. March 31, 2009 - Vertical Construction Rises at Newest Collin County Hospital; Methodist McKinney Hospital to Open in Early 2010

Vertical construction is rising at Collin County's newest hospital. Methodist McKinney Hospital received its building permit from the City of McKinney on March 11 and steel beams are now reaching skyward. Nueterra Real Estate, the real estate developer, has been preparing the site for construction since October 2008, following approval of the planning and zoning permit. Read full release.

October 20, 2008 - Construction Begins on Methodist McKinney Hospital

Today, construction of the Methodist McKinney Hospital is officially underway with the receipt of the planning and zoning permit from the City of McKinney. The real estate development team from Nueterra Real Estate, along with the hospital's board of managers and Methodist Health System, worked diligently with the City of McKinney and the Stonebridge Architectural Committee to finalize the hospital's exterior design and placement of the building on the property. April 2, 2008 - Groundbreaking Ceremony Marks Beginning of Methodist McKinney Hospital

A groundbreaking ceremony and reception April 1 kicked off construction of Methodist McKinney Hospital. The new hospital will be located on the northeast corner of Eldorado Parkway and Stonebridge Drive in the Stonebridge Ranch residential community in McKinney. More than 100 hospital supporters attended the festive kickoff, including local dignitaries McKinney City Manager Frank Ragan and Assistant City Manager Reggie Neff, and several city council members.
